Job site photography
We photograph our work before, during, and after a project for quality control, warranty records, and our portfolio. Portfolio photos published on our website, on social media, or in advertising show the work itself. We do not publish customer names or street addresses alongside these photos, and we identify locations only by town. If you would prefer that photos of your project not be used in our marketing, tell us at any time and we will remove them from material we control.

We use the information described above to:
Respond to your inquiry and schedule a free estimate
Prepare quotes, contracts, and change orders
Schedule crews, order materials, and complete your project
Invoice you and process payments
Communicate with you about work in progress, warranty questions, and follow-up service
Ask for a review or referral after a project is finished
Send occasional updates about our services, if you have asked to receive them
Understand how visitors find and use our website so we can improve it

Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and misuse of our website
4. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses them to keep the site working correctly, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. We use:
Squarespace cookies — required for the site to function and to produce basic visitor statistics.
Google Analytics — helps us understand which pages people visit and how they arrived.
Google Ads conversion tracking — tells us when a visitor who clicked one of our ads submits a form or calls us.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on, and you can adjust ad personalization in your Google account settings.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, our site does not currently respond to them.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
Service providers. Companies that help us operate, such as our website host (Squarespace), email and phone providers, estimating and invoicing software, and payment processors. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Subcontractors and suppliers. When your project calls for a specialty trade or a material delivery, we share the property address and relevant project details with the subcontractor or supplier involved.
Financing partners. If you apply for project financing, your application goes directly to [FINANCING PROVIDER NAME], and their own privacy policy and terms govern that application. We receive only enough information to know whether financing was approved.
Advertising and review platforms. We maintain profiles on Google Business Profile, Facebook, and review platforms. If you interact with us there, that platform's privacy policy applies to your activity on it.
Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect our rights, our employees, our customers, or the public.
Business transfer. If our business is sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction.
6. Calls, texts, and email
When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your estimate or project. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or ask us directly to stop calling or texting.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
If we send marketing emails, every one includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages about a project already underway, such as scheduling or invoicing.
7. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up. We keep customer project records, contracts, and invoices for as long as required for warranty, insurance, tax, and legal recordkeeping, which is generally at least seven years. We delete or anonymize information when we no longer have a business or legal reason to keep it.
8. How we protect information
We maintain physical, administrative, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, consistent with Massachusetts regulations on protecting the personal information of Commonwealth residents (201 CMR 17.00). Our website uses SSL encryption. Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to do their jobs.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as a Social Security number or full account number through our website contact form or by email.
9. Your choices and rights
Access and correction. Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
Deletion. Ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep records we are legally required to retain.
Marketing opt-out. Unsubscribe from emails, or reply STOP to texts.
Portfolio photos. Ask us not to use photos of your project in our marketing.
To make a request, contact us at marcel@sorelhomeimprovement.com or 774-218-1795. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law; contact us and we will tell you what applies.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are directed to homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, including our Facebook page, review platforms, and financing partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Read their privacy policies before providing information to them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on this page. Please review it periodically.
